Valentino SS2000 Floral Embroidered Tulle & Shantung Silk Three-Piece Set

This rare Valentino Spring/Summer 2000 three-piece set consists of a reversible embroidered camisole, a sheer floral embroidered jacket, and a structured silk shantung skirt.
The camisole is designed to be worn reversibly. One side features red tulle floral appliqués embroidered with green leaves and accented with small red crystal embellishments. The reverse side (as seen on the runway) reveals a softer multicolor palette, with delicate floral embroidery in pastel tones of pink, purple, blue, orange, yellow, and green. The neckline, straps, and hem are all finished with a looped corded scallop trim, giving the camisole a lace-like border.
The sheer jacket is crafted from fine mesh and embroidered throughout with multicolor tulle floral appliqués. Pastel lily-of-the-valley motifs bloom across the sleeves and body, creating an airy, almost weightless layer. The edges are delicately traced with red crystal accents and a continuous embroidered border, while narrow ribbon ties at the front allow the jacket to be worn open or softly fastened at the center.
The skirt is cut from ivory silk shantung, giving it a structured yet luminous quality. The fabric reflects light beautifully, creating an almost liquid sheen. Its clean A-line silhouette maintains its shape while falling elegantly to the floor, grounding the delicate embroidered top with refined simplicity.
Together, the three pieces form a highly versatile set in full bloom. Romantic, intricate, and beautifully balanced, it can be worn as a complete ensemble or styled separately as individual archival pieces.

🫧 Condition: Excellent — 9/10. The camisole and jacket are in pristine condition with no flaws to note. The skirt has two small yellow marks near the left hem on the back side (see last pic), not noticeable when worn, and is otherwise in excellent condition.
